Meet the people
We are proud to have skilled and committed employees within our team. Our in-house software developers are specialized in various different areas of modern software architecture and technology, as well as our external software and business consultants who support MINT with their expertise and allow the continuous improvement of our products and their global wide distribution.
Jörg holds a degree in Computer Science and Economics and brings in profound knowledge in Operations Research. Prior to founding MINT, Jörg served as consultant for airline organizations.
Christian has over thirty years of diverse experience in the aviation industry including serving as maintenance engineer and instructor. He graduated in Computer Science at the University of Hagen and brings in extensive background in IT Management at Lufthansa Technical Training and at Lufthansa Systems.
Wolfgang holds a degree in communications engineering and worked as Project Manager for Alcatel Germany and Lufthansa Systems before joining MINT in 2000. At Lufthansa Systems he successfully managed several multi-million dollar software implementation projects for international airlines.
Christian is an accomplished hands-on manager and a customer-focused communicator with excellent leadership skills. Leading the introduction of the MINT Training Scheduling functions at JetBlue Airways, he has a solid understanding of our product and how it helps our customers optimizing their training processes.
Frank brings more than 19 years of experience as sales and marketing manager into the MINT team. As enthusiastic marketer he is leading the sales and marketing team, managing all of our sales and customer acquisition activities including sales presentations, as well as the complete marketing, corporate communications and the organization of our events. He is a passionate pilot, flying for fun when his busy calendar allows.
Giancarlo joined MINT in February 2016 as a Key Account Project Manager and operates from our Orlando office. In July 2018, he transitioned into his current position as Business Development Manager under the Sales and Marketing team. Giancarlo began in the aviation industry at a very young age of 18, working for JetBlue Airways, while completing his studies in Marketing and Business Administration at the University of Central Florida. During the four years spent at JetBlue, he had the opportunity to work in many different areas of the operation, including being a Customer Service Lead at the Orlando International Airport and Training Records Specialist at the JetBlue University. Giancarlo enjoys traveling, fitness, and spending time with family and friends during his off time.
Klaus started his career in aviation in 1979 as a development engineer in the A300, A310 and A320 projects. In 1988 he joined the technical training department at Lufthansa where he became later responsible for the entire third-party engineering training. In 1995 he took over the position as Director Marketing, Sale and Customer Services at Lufthansa Technical Training, Inc. After a few years as Head of Product Management – Aviation Industry Solutions he is retired from Lufthansa Technical Training he is now supporting MINT in marketing and sales with focus on engineering training.
Christoph holds a degree in business economics and has been working in the IT business since more than 15 years. Starting his early career as software developer, he advanced towards project management as well as managing customer relations. As MINT Key Account he is taking good care of our customers all over the globe. Christoph is a certified EU FCL and US PPL pilot with CRI endorsement and besides working in the software industry, flying is his great passion.
Amanda joined MINT in October 2016 as a Key Account Project Manager and operates from our Orlando office. She studied at the University of Florida where she received a Bachelors and Masters in Sport Management, with a business minor. Her previous work experience has been in various industries, managing special projects and customer relations. As MINT Key Account Project Manager, she is taking care of our customers in the Western Hemisphere. Amanda enjoys being outdoors, and can often be found on the lake or at the beach.
Nick joined MINT in August 2017 as a Key Account Project Manager and operates from our Orlando office. Prior to joining the MINT Americas team, Nick was a Web Developer and Digital Media Manager for a Florida based startup. Nick’s aviation industry experience extends back to his time at JetBlue Airways where he was a Systems Analyst at their JetBlue University training center. An avid waterman, Nick loves the ocean and spends most of his free time surfing.
Michael joined MINT as Key Account Project Manager and holds a Bachelor degree in Airline Management and Master in International Management. He is a certified EASA frozen ATPL and US PPL Pilot. Before joining MINT in September 2017, he managed international projects for i.a. Aircraft Maintenance (Part 145), Training (Part 147), and Business Aviation companies. Beside working with Mint, he is a passionate pilot and loves to travel.
Ihsan joined MINT in August 2017 as Key Account Project Manager and holds a bachelor degree in Information Systems and a master degree in Project Management. Before joining MINT, he worked for various IT companies managing many complex IT implementation projects. Ihsan is a huge sports fan and likes to spend time with his family.
Juan joined MINT in May 2018 as a Key Account Project Manager and operates from our Kiel office. Juan holds a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontifical Xavierian University, in Colombia. Prior to joining MINT, Juan worked over four years at Avianca as a Flight Training Scheduling Analyst. In his free time, Juan enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, body combat, and dancing.
Sebastian joined MINT in 2003 as an apprentice and has been part of MINT ever since. Today, he is one of our most experienced senior software engineers, with extensive knowledge of the software, and is in charge of our Development Team. In his free time, Sebastian is the singer and guitarist of a rock band, well-known for their inspiring performances at the famous “Kieler Woche” sailing event.
David joined MINT in April 2017 and is the Technical Support team lead. David holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, with a business minor, from the University of Central Florida. David brings extensive knowledge in Program management, leading several successful IT related projects before joining MINT, and strives to increase his team’s productivity and deliver the best customer service possible. He is also a passionate fisherman, so if he is not working on supporting our customers, he most likely can be found fishing near the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
Beate is responsible for accounting and finances at MINT and coordinates everything that has to do with numbers. She plays a central role within the team, our customers as well as our sales and management team can rely on her unfailing finance management and organization skills.
